Neal's CNC is a cutting and fabrication service specializing in custom design, custom cutting and small or single batch part runs.
Much of our work consists of cutting the parts and building booths for the trade show, museum, and exhibition industry. We can also do the design of your booth, and at the other end, crate it up for shipping and installation.
We've made signs, architectural models, retail merchandising displays, machinery for the wine industry, and even parts for the automotive industry.
And with one of the largest cutting beds in the industry, measuring 5' x 10', we can easily cut the architectural signage for a new sports stadium, hospital, or office building.
Our CNC can cut almost anything. All hard and soft woods, rubbers and foams, plastics as well as FRP's such as carbon fiber or fiberglass. Metals aren't a problem - we cut all non-ferrous metals including aluminum, brass, copper, even gold and silver. Some of the most common materials we cut are these:
Neal Wood has over half a century of trade experience in the Bay Area. There isn't a square mile in San Francisco that doesn't contain some of Neal's craftsmanship. He has had a hand in the building of BART, made and installed signage throughout much of San Francisco - including the iconic Anchor Brewing Company sign in the Potrero District as well as the UCSF clock on Parnassus. He's crafted and installed exhibits in many of the museums in San Francisco including the California Academy of Sciences, the De Young, and the Asian Art Museum. There are too many others to list here, but you can imagine the breadth of work when someone's daily existence for over fifty years consists of building aesthetically pleasing signage, welcoming building lobby environments, museum exhibits, trade show booths, furniture, cabinets, and retail displays.
